Summer holidays

The academic year 2025-2026 has now finished, and we are working hard to make sure that we are ready for a wonderful new year in September.

Term dates for the 2026-2027 academic year

Our term dates are informed by Swindon Borough Council.

• TERM 1: Tuesday, 1 September to Wednesday, 21 October 2026.

  • NOTE: Tuesday 1st September - Friday 4th September 2026 will be a training week for Hunt Scholars staff. Some of our young people might be in for introductions or re-introductions during the later parts of this week. Normal term time for the majority of our young people will begin Monday 7th September 2026, though please check with a member of our admin team if you are uncertain.

• TERM 2: Monday, 2 November to Friday, 18 December 2026.

• TERM 3: Monday, 4 January to Friday, 12 February 2027.

• TERM 4: Monday, 22 February to Thursday, 25 March 2027.

  • Includes bank holidays on:

    • Friday, 26 March 2027.

    • Monday, 29 March 2027.

• TERM 5: Monday, 12 April to Friday, 28 May 2027.

  • Includes bank holidays on:

    • Monday, 3 May 2027.

• TERM 6: Monday, 7 June to Friday, 23 July 2027.
